Narrative
Insurance is the part of music finance nobody talks about until something breaks.
Consider a client three weeks out from their biggest headline run yet, nine dates, own production, crew on hire. Then the lead guitarist breaks a wrist.
The tour does not happen. The venue deposits, the van hire, the crew fees already committed, most of it is gone. There is no non-appearance insurance. That one gap costs more than a year of premiums would have.
For a working musician running what is effectively a small business, four categories of cover do most of the heavy lifting, and knowing which to recommend first is the adviser's job.
