The fee number is the easy part. What gets signed away is the part nobody reads.
A mid-size dance label asks a remixer to rework one of their artists' tracks. The sends the stems, offers a fee, and asks the remixer to sign off on "standard remix terms".
The fee is obvious. What is not obvious is everything the remixer does not get, and that is exactly what the adviser is there to spell out.
