The track that can be cleared with one yes wins.

Take two clients chasing the same brief. The first has spent a year building a sync catalogue, five tracks registered, stems ready, clean. A cutting a major TV ad campaign needs a track in 48 hours.

The first client sends their best one. The supervisor replies within the hour: "Love it. Who else do we need sign-off from?" The answer is "Just me. I own the and the ." The deal is done by the end of the day.

The second client co-wrote their best track with four other writers last year. Same brief, same supervisor, but a week later they are still chasing signatures. The ad has already gone to another artist.
