Consider a client who has built a track around the perfect loop: four bars of a dusty 1970s funk record, the exact groove needed, the whole arrangement built on top of it. It sounds like a hit.
The question that decides whether any of it is releasable is the one nobody asked at the start:
Has that been cleared?
