Narrative
A statement is not a smaller version of a record statement. It is a different document.
A label statement is organised by the recording: , downloads, physical, less and reserves. A publishing statement is organised by the work () and it splits every line by what kind of use earned it and which society collected it.
So the same song can appear five times on one page: a mechanical line from , a performance line from , a foreign performance line that came in through a German , a line, and a US line collected by an affiliate. Each is a separate row because each took a different path to get here.
The job is to read across that chain, from what the use earned at the far end, through every cut, down to the one figure the writer is actually paid.
